THAT THEY MAY BELIEVE Part 4 The art of believing

Greetings Saints!

That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the
God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee. Exodus 4:5

So they would believe… here is the theme of the entire Bible. God getting his people to believe.

Miracle after miracle, God is trying to convince His people He is who He says He is and He will do what
He says He will do. Confirming His Word with signs and wonders. But they still waver.

They did it then, and we do it now. Something so simple as believing turns out to be so difficult.

Why is it hard? There are other forces at work to try to discredit our God. Circumstances, situations,
feelings, voices, traditions, religions all try to prove His Word untrue.

Throughout the entire Bible, time after time, we see God doing things so His people will just believe
Him and give Him the honor He is due.

You see when we believe right, we are made right-eous. That is the key. If He can get us to believe
right, He will do the work required to prove us right in that situation

There is no other way to be right. You cannot earn it. You cannot buy it. You cannot get a degree for
it, you cannot have the right nationality or skin color for it, you can only believe to receive.

So He has to get us to believe or we are doomed to failure through our own human works and efforts, as
sincere as they may seem.

That is why He did those awesome miracles to Egypt. That is why he has had prophets throughout the ages
showing forth the supernatural. That is why He sent Jesus, to show us God in the flesh.

We are without excuse. I know the pressures are great and the circumstances build a convincing case. But
all are lies other than the Word of God.

Choose this day to believe and no matter what the world says about it, you are then aligning yourself
with God’s right-ness. Therefore because God is right, you are right.

Do not be discouraged. This is no easy cakewalk. But I have good news, Jesus overcame the tribulation
of the world so that we are also more than conquerors.

Hallelujah, the greater one now lives within me!

It is my job to believe, making me right with God, and right in every other way as well.
Jesus replied, This is the work (service) that God asks of you: that you believe in the One Whom He has
sent [that you cleave to, trust, rely on, and have faith in His Messenger]. John 6:29 amp

And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for
righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. James 2:23

I love you.
